About my interest in Psychology.

The type of Psychology that interests me the most is Abnormal psychology. Abnormal psychology is a branch of psychology that deals with disorders, like depression to obsession-compulsion to sexual deviation. Most of the time, Abnormal Psychology is treated by councilors, clinical psychologists and Psychotherapists. I am interested by this because I like to think about how the human brain works. I am really interested by mental disorders and what causes people to act the way they do.

I am wanting to work with students with Special needs, which means I am fully interested in how the human brain works, and how it effects the person. Although, that is a little different than this, it still is very interesting. I have gone through times of my life where my anxiety and depression has been worse than normal, which makes me also very interested in Abnormal Psychology.
